Springfield(MO) Glendale became the first local team to win the Bass Pro Shops Tournament of Champions in 1994. The Falcons defeated eventual Mississippi Class 5A State Champions Natchez in the first round, eventual Missouri Class 4A Third Place finisher St. Charles West (who'd win the TOC the next season) in the semi-final, and regionally ranked Middle Village(NY) Christ the King in the championship game. Glendale senior Stu Stenger was named the 1994 Bass Pro Shops Tournament of Champions MVP and junior Kenny Price to the All-Tournament team. Price later played NCAA Div. 1 basketball at Colorado.
Team members included: Brian Cates, Brian Grow, Eric Post, Tony Patterson, Mike Morelock, Stu Stenger, Chaz Sarles (manager), Kenny Price, Justin Foley, Michael Galindo, Brad Feuerbacher, and Jeff McDaniel (manager). Head Coach - Mike Keltner.
